Introducing the Vanquish Products VRD Carbon Kit, a pioneering innovation designed to cater to both seasoned RC rock crawling enthusiasts and those new to the sport. This competition-level platform boasts a 3mm thick matte finish carbon fiber frame, coupled with a 6-degree flat skid plate, offering advanced users precision and control in their crawls. For beginners, the user-friendly design with molded components provides adaptability to varied terrains. The lightweight spec VFD transmission, with its innovative features, guarantees durability while accommodating the needs of all skill levels.
The VRD Carbon Kit's chassis is a testament to versatility and adaptability. With carbon fiber rails, it features molded components that provide tunable options, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned rock crawling enthusiasts. Multiple shock and body mounting positions, along with stamped aluminum rock sliders, ensure straightforward body mounting and fitment while protecting your electronics. These come together and allow for a higher level of versatility over different crawling environments.
Equipped with Incision S8E shocks featuring hard-anodized shock bodies, the VRD ensures a smooth and controlled ride, ideal for conquering challenging terrains. Heavy-duty stainless steel lower suspension links and lightweight upper links, along with the included 25T spline 20mm Servo Horn, offer robust connectivity between the chassis and axles, delivering stability and precision in your rock crawling adventures. The suspension system's tunable shock length and multiple shock mounting options provide the flexibility to fine-tune ride height and adapt to various terrains, making adjustments easy for both novice and advanced users.
In the center of the VRD Carbon Kit is the updated lightweight spec VFD transmission equipped with a lightweight machined aluminum motor plate and aluminum motor plate standoffs. In addition, internally the VFD is equipped with CNC-machined aluminum bearing plates and machined lightweight chromoly gears to boost stability, reliability and crawling capabilities. Each internal gear has been re-designed to be as lightweight as possible dropping the weight of the overall transmission while maintaining a high level of durability!
The molded chassis components and skid plate help place the lightweight spec VFD transmission as low as possible into the VRD chassis, while the updated F10 front portal axle design uses an (AMS) Axle-Mounted-Servo and a 4-link suspension system to maximize steering output and enhance crawling performance by lowering the LCG (Lower center of Gravity). In addition, both front and rear axles come with weighted brass tube inserts and the front steering knuckles are constructed from alloy aluminum to keep the center of gravity as low as possible, which translates to a higher performance output and a significant enhancement in durability.
In the hardware bag, there are two 22mm long screws mixed into the 20mm screws. These 22mm screws are used for the rear upper shock mounts.
